Day of talks

A day full of talks! :-)

In the morning I spoke to the group about intragroup light in compact groups of galaxies, so that the new student understands part of my work and that the other members could understand better and ask questions, specially about the method. A better explanation about the method will come next week.

In the afternoon more on GALFIT and started to study Budda.

To end the day a very nice talk from Peter Schneider about cosmic shear. Not so much on results, but a great review on general cosmology and the role cosmic shear plays on it! The talk was for the physics faculty, so it was more "general" than only for the astrophysics institute.
