Crazy week ...
So! A summary of the whole week (thought about splitting in days ... but ... no)At Bad Honnef, the trip there was good, despite starting obscenely early :-)
Got there in time, we had two poster section at the afternoon, a night discussion on the future of the project and so on. Nice that Dimitri was there also, not only good for talking, but also good because we managed to make BUDDA work together! That was very useful! Finally it seemed to work!
Some Kölsch with friends and we were ready for the last poster section (the one I was suppose to be at my poster, even though everyone was at their posters all the time).
Morning section on friday and I headed to Cologne for more Kölsch and searching a good bass amplifier. Found it and took it to Goe! :-)
So, weekend my second birthday party with Akhilesh at EinsB. A nice party, everybody had fun! And also some anticipation because of the result of the Bad Honnef SPP meeting that would be released on monday.
Monday arrived and the result too! We got my position for 1 more year! So, 1 year of DLR postion and 1 year of DFG position leaves me here until Jan 2009 ... sounds good, 2 years in a row without asking for money in between.
Monday, after a small celebration we found out that the DLR semestral report due to Jan 31st, was actually due to Jan 15th ... (that exact day). We managed to get it due to the next day. Hard work on that for the next day also and report sent on time.
Wednesday I had to solve some problems in town, but the work as basically find the IDs and coordinates of the objects and find them in the FORS MS 0451 images.
Thursday was finishing the matching of the catalogs and producing the tables with the photometry.
Today was finishing that and in the afternoon I stopped to organize all I already have in a systematic fashion, otherwise I'll get crazy.
Also tests with Budda have been made in the weekend and in this week. It works!
Now, more on monday.
