Searching ...
4 days ... 4 days without science due to something kind of urgent ... SEARCHING FOR A NEW FLAT!
I wanted to do that "slowly", but there's no way. So I stopped everything to search. No ideal flat, but a strong candidate ... now I'm trying to speak to the owner to arrange the contract, but I can't find it. So, tomorrow, there will be a couple more of visited flats and a news paper search!
Monday I hope everything will be solved and I'll be back to science.
Calibrations going well
The calibration of the archive images for one of the groups got to an end. Using the surface brightness profile agreed with the VLT equations (which are not exactly for the day), so that's good. And since we only had the profiles for B and R, that means that using the VLT equations for V is good. That's over!
After party!
Yesterday no work! The boss decided to make a barbecue at his place, before he leaves for his vacation, so, party at the boss! :-))
Today yes, work, calibrations!!! Going, now it will go better!

Post for the last days!
Friday was lost, as expected. City hall for visa, university administration for the last paper work. Pre-lecture of the boss and the Ph.D. cerimony of our student was the whole day.
Weekend, enjoy the sun and study German for the exam TODAY!
Yesterday, the final lecture of the boss for his "Habilitation" (last step before the full professor position") and then a small celebration. After that study more German.
Today, studying German and leaving RIGHT NOW to the exam.
Why to study so much? I don't really need to do the exam, but I spent too many hour going to those classes, I gotta "consolidate" that knowledge doing a good exam!
Tomorrow, back to astronomy! heheheheh
One more day!
Today composed another group and the last fine tunning is still running ...
Tomorrow will be an useless day. Gotta go to the cityhall to extend my visa for the next contract, but before gotta go to the health insurance company to see if they have to give me another paper for the visa and then take everything to the university administration.
In the afternoon a talk from the boss and after the graduation cerimony of one of our students ... so, I hope I can find some time to check the tunning ... then I'll post :-)

Yesterday was another composing day. Also solving some problems in town and German class.
The tunning for the second group looked good, today the final results on that.
Now! Wednesday morning ... LOUNDRY! Nothing else to wear :-))

Today composing phase.
A nice group, but I'll refine the reconstruction a bit, to make ir better. It will be already done tomorrow. And the third one should also be ... than ... calibration!
World cup is over ... now, back to normal mode!
Selected
Objects selected and reconstructing.
Monday it will be ready. Then is "assembling" the components and checking if another solution is possible.
The weekend will be full of studing german, I'm behind in my course!
One more selected
One more group with objects selected and reconstructing.
Tomorrow I'll select the objects of the third group (hope I can finish it tomorrow and let it reconstruct durring the weekend).
Then is checking how it was, if there's another possible solution to those groups and go to the new set of data which is being reduced by Miguel.

Yesterday I just came to do some paper work, since I was having a visit of a friend. After the paper work a small visit to Hildersheim (1.5 hours from here).
It comes in a good time, since the processing was still running.
Today more selection and processing.
BTW, no comments on the pathetic performance of my national soccer team against France ... they just seemed to have a nice place to see France playing ...
